MATERIALS IN MOTION

⊛ April 2024

⛬ Victoria & Albert museum

London, UK

A workshop exploring the materiality of film through hands-on processes inspired by early animation devices and experimental moving image techniques. Drawing from the V&A’s early film and photography collection, participants experimented with creating their own animated disks, direct interventions on film, and composing layered collages, building dynamic, tactile sequences that bring analog materials to life.
