Garden Utopias is a project developed through a series of workshops, gatherings, and conversations with a group of young people from the Medina of Marrakech and the Mamans Douées of Dar Bellarj. 

Together, we immersed ourselves in the sensory world of plants, exploring plant-light alchemy, image ecologies, and more-than-human perspectives. The workshops featured hands-on experimentation with plant-based photographic techniques, as well as collective storytelling through sound and projection, building up to the creation of a publication alongside a shared body of work.

The outcomes of the programme were presented as part of the Ch[a]rita festival in 2024 and 2025 through a series of public interventions, curated screenings, and community events in Marrakech.
