Created from found footage manipulated through an analog video synthesizer, this piece explores the modulations and disturbances in corporeal rhythms activated by the act of processing the image. As the moving bodies are stretched and multiplied, new forms of movements are generated in the form of synthetic assemblage between human and machine. The movements performed by the bodies are affected by the external tension and force that alter the rhythm of the performance. The figures’ contours dissolve into a pixelated landscape. The moving bodies are recast within an incommensurable space-time dimension. They are there and not there; suspended between presence and absence, appearance and disappearance.
